Physis

Physis is a personal project that explores how an audiovisual work can influence the environment inviting the viewer to experience a meditative and contemplative state, where visual art, audio, and space create an immersive atmosphere.

For Aristotle, Physis was the internal capacity of a living organism to undergo alterations while maintaining it’s species identity.

The main piece of the work is a living digital sculpture that evolves constantly inviting us to reflect on the changing nature of living organisms. The piece creates a bidirectional relationship between artificial nature and industrial spaces where humans are relegated to mere observes.

This piece it’s been shown in the Shanghai international digital vision exhibition Shift+ curated by manamana platform and the CAA(Chinese Academy of Arts).
